The National Committee of Large Dams (ALBCOLD) on 23.05.2022 organized the meeting of the May 2022.

The main issues discussed at this meeting were:

1-Review of the technical documentation and approval of the testing of the works for rehabilitation of the Janjar dam and Shtodri dam. After reviewing this documentation, ALBCOLD approved the act of testing the works performed for the rehabilitation of these two dams.

2-Review the technical documentation for the testing of the rehabilitation works of the Tapiza dam. After reviewing the documentation and the situation on the site, ALBCOLD did not approve the act of testing these works and set the relevant tasks for taking repair measures by its user.

3-Analyse and Conclusion on the Problems in the Vasjar dam which is currently out of function. ALBCOLD decided to ask the dam users to prepare the dam safety plans and a project by qualified and licensed experts in the dams sector based on which the measures to be taken in the future will be foreseen.

4-Information regarding the new elections in the forum of young dam engineers (ALB-YEF) which were organized on 05.05.2022. The new Chairman of the Forum was elected eng. Erjon Qosja.
