Dams and Reservoirs Day 2026
EURCOLD has decided to organize Dams and Reservoirs Day 2026 in the last week of May 2026, to promote dams and reservoirs, recognizing this infrastructure as valuable assets in water management, which play a crucial role in the European economy.
The main message we wish to convey through the poster for this important day in the dams and reservoirs sector will be “Ensuring water sustainability for Europe”.
This message will highlight both the essential nature of water resources and the need for flexibility and adaptation in the face of climate change.

On this occasion, EURCOLD expresses the desire that the European National Dam Committees and the community of large dam engineers and operators organize as many activities as possible during this period until the end of May 2026 to promote this important sector.
